This is a course in the UNIX operating system and the C programming language for students with a substantial programming background. UNIX is a Multi-User, Multi-Tasking operating system which has set the standard for operating systems since its inception, and still sets the standard today. C is a Structured programming language which has been the language of choice for most serious application developers since its inception, and still is the language of choice today.
