Project 1: Some Basic Combinational Circuits

Build and test the following circuits using your favorite digital simulator. 
(Those who do not use Digital Works 2.0 will have to arrange to demonstrate 
their circuits on a computer with their digital simulator installed.)

1.  A majority gate

2.  A TC01 (see truth table below).

3.  A 1 bit half adder.

4.  A 1 bit full adder by cascading two half adders.

5.  A 1 bit full adder directly (as in fig. 4-4 in text).

6.  A 4 bit full adder by cascading 4 1 bit full adders.

7.  A "conditional inverter" (see truth table below).

8.  A 4 bit two's complement adder-subtractor.

Hand in a typed (word processed) project report WITH YOUR NAME ON IT containing 
descriptive text, gate level circuit diagrams produced by your favorite digital
simulator or NEATLY drawn by hand, and a 3.5" floppy disk containing the 
simulator files for your designs.  Your project report is to be handed in in a 
folder (the kind with pockets so the pages and floppy disk don't fall out).
