- SUN Microsystems slow but free Java Beans development kit at http://www.netbeans.com. If you have version 1.2.x of SUN's Java Development Kit, you want NetBeans DeveloperX2 2.1.2. If you have the older version, version 1.1.x, of the Java Development Kit, you want NetBeans Developer 2.1.2.
- For faster Java Beans development kits, try some of those listed at the bottom of SUN's Java Development Kit download page at http://java.sun.com/products/jdk/1.2/. Among those listed, Borland's J Builder is both FAST and FREE, but you need Linux or NT to run it.
